I am going to tell you about my school. My school is new and modern and I like it very much. It has three floors. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are classrooms for different subjects, such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology Literature etc.
There is a computer class in our school. We study computer science here. The computer class has the most modern equipment and the Internet access.
We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the second floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances.
There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field, a swimming pool, and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, swimming, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups.
In our school we have also painting group, dance group, theatre group and rock group. All these groups are very popular and many pupils attend them.
The teachers in our school are very skilled. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection, climat changes etc.
There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February.
I think that school years are very important for every person. It’s a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledges, and choosing your way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So I’ll never forget my school, my teachers, and my classmates.

В нашей школе также есть кружки рисования, танцев, театральный кружок и рок-группа. Все эти кружки очень популярны и многие ученики посещают их.
В нашей школе преподают очень квалифицированные учителя. Они стараются передать нам все свои знания и пробудить интерес к своим предметам и к самообразованию. Учителя не только преподают нам школьные предметы, но и рассказывают обо всем, о различных мировых проблемах, таких как экология, охрана природы, климатические изменения и т.д.
В нашей школе есть хорошая традиция. Каждый год выпускники школы приходят на встречу с учителями и одноклассниками. Эти встречи проходят каждую первую субботу февраля.
Я считаю, что школьные годы очень важны для каждого человека. Это период взросления, приобретения знаний и выбора жизненного пути. Очень часто школьные друзья остаются вашими друзьями на всю жизнь. Поэтому я никогда не забуду мою школу, учителей и одноклассников.

On Monday I usually wake up late and have no time to eat my breakfast. I can"t find my books and my school cap. At last I find my books in the bathroom and find my cap - my dog. Pal. likes to play with it. I have to wait ages for a bus and I am nearly late for school. I enter the classroom when our class-teacher begins to call out the register.
The first lesson on Monday morning is maths. Mr. Bailey, the maths teacher, collects our homework and then gives us some sums to do.
The next lesson is French. I like French. It"s nice to be able to talk to somebody in another language.
At last it is eleven o"clock: time for break. A girl, whose name is Susan, gives me a piece of cake to eat with my milk. She allows me to copy her Latin homework, because I don"t know how to do it.
After break we have two lessons of Latin. There are a lot of boys in our class who don"t like Latin. I don"t like it either. At half past twelve it is time for lunch: a meat pie, boiled potatoes or cabbage and a glass of juice or milk.
Then I go into the playground with my friends. We play football there.
After lunch we have a history lesson. The history teacher tells us many interesting things.
After school my friends and I usually go for a walk. I come home very late, and my mother is very angry.
In the evening I do my homework. Now I cannot do my homework - there is an interesting programme on television. I think I can do it tomorrow, during break.

My school is far from my place, that"s why I usually take a bus and go to the school. It takes me 15 minutes to get to the school. My first class starts at 8 a.m. We often have 6 classes. There are 4 breaks 15 miunutes each. After the third class we have lunch at our school canteen. I often eat some salad, porridge or potatoes with meat or fish.
My favourite subject at school is Literature. I like it because, firstly, I am fond of reading stories, novels and poems by Russian and foreign authors. Secondly, our Literature teacher is a very interesting person. She knows her subject well. I like listening to her talk. She always tells us something interesting.

At 5-6 o’clock I like to play with my friends. We usually go for a walk. We like different parks. Sometimes we watch films, play computer games and discuss the latest news.
In the evening I usually do my homework. Sometimes I do homework till the late night. And then I go to bed. But some days I try to have a rest before my sleep.
And undoubtedly, I’m looking for a wekend. Weekend is a marvelous time for all pupils and students. It is a time for a good rest. I try to relax in full force and effect.
